people have been telling me that i'm a good teacher... so maybe, i just might.
i nailed the practice CBEST that they have online and did not-so-hot on the practice GRE--wait, I killed on the math section. what's up with that??? i'm a fricken' ENGLISH major! booooooo! and ever since elementary school, i've always screwed up on the reading comprehension section... and yet, I ROCK all my lit classes. damn tests.
got a rejection letter from one of the jobs i applied for @ USF. it's all good though because i've been thinking... do i really want to spend my time before grad school as a secretary? there's still another program assistant position from which i haven't heard.
i'm applying for Americorps!!! and i'm thinking of maybe getting a teaching credential from sfstate. and then i'll get my mfa. or something. ohmigosh, i'm actually thinking of teaching high school! which i thought i would never want to do. but it's actually not so bad. i guess that's what going out and getting experience is all about. but mostly, i've been wanting to teach at the JC level. i think i decided that near the beginning of college. i guess we'll see.
hey--how current do CBEST scores have to be to get your teaching credentials? and how current do GRE's have to be to go to grad school? maybe i'll just buy me some study books.

i don't know anything about the GRE since i'm only required to take both the CBEST and the CSET. and i'm not sure if there's a time limit on the CBEST. but most of the time people who want to teach take the CBEST the semester they graduate in order to apply for a credential or credential/ MA program.
i would recommend to take the CBEST asap even if ur not gonna credential soon so u can get it out of the way. i'm taking it this upcoming april. sucks that i'll be in sac and ur in sf.
