  my lungs are clear according to louie's mom, but what she could she of my throat was red, or something.  fever.  bah.  doctor's suck, so i'll just suck on some ricola and sleep as much as possible this week... maybe i'll take work off to get better.  ahh, that would be lovely.

  
  

  a question that i've been thinking about off and on for about a year now (since it occurred to me that marrying the one you love and want to spent the rest of your life with is not a necessity) why do people get married?  why did/would you get married?

  
  

  dave (a different dave) and i had a interesting discussion about weddings.  we had a mini-toast, "here's to not getting married until we understand it."  i think that's probably why catholic church's require couples to go through a 6 month workshop/class program:  to make sure they know what they're doing.
